I had class with him yesterday. We had seen each other earlier in the morning, in the History Department. I peered into his office and said in a cheery tone: "Hi Professor! See you later". He came out of his office and we talked for a bit, then he had a class to teach and I had one to attend to.
Well, maybe except for the fact that the teen in question is male.
Interestingly, this guy is a co-chair on the House Caucus on Missing and Exploited Children and he wrote the bill that wanted to ban "virtual child porn" i.e. cartoons, adults pretending to be minors in movies.
Sorry about another LazyTown post, but I just had to post this. I went looking around youtube to see if LazyTown is as "perverted" as most say it is...I watched a few of the clips, most seemed pretty innocent, until...
I love how after Stephanie's more "suggestive" dance moves, it cuts to the Sportacus, who seems awfully happy to see Stephanie dance...so happy that he looks like he's about to rush the stage any second. He's got that dazed look on his face and he's having trouble controlling his hands. Looks like little Stephanie will need a bouncer next time she dances. And maybe the bouncer can stop the Jim Carrey-esque guy. It seems like Sportacus is more worried about his view to the show getting blocked, then about her getting injured by the guy's antics. And oh yeah, don't forgot about the muppet boy at .54
Does anyone who watches the show have any clips that they recommend?
And what do you guys think? Is there a sexual subtext in this kids' show or are people just projecting their thoughts onto it? I dunno after all...( One pic behind the cutCollapse )
